Jaco Pastorius Big Band - Twins I (1982) [EAC-FLAC] EAC rip (secure mode) | FLAC (tracks)+CUE+LOG -> 295 Mb Full Artwork @ 300 dpi (png) -> 16 Mb Recorded live at Budokan, Tokyo, September 1st 1982, Osaka Festival Hall, Osaka, September 4th 1982, Yokohama Stadium, Yokohama, September 5th 1982. I almost rated this recording a 4 because of the 20+ year old recording technology. But then I listened more seriously and was truly taken back with the fun roller coaster ride that Jaco and his 20 piece band took me on. With players like Don Alias on Percussion, Randy Brecker on Trumpet, Peter Erskine playing smoking drums and too many other heavyweights to mention I was taken to a really good place. From Jaco's incredible playing to Erskine, Brecker, french horns, tuba etc. this album goes where very few go even today. All I can say is buy it and hold on to your seat. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tracklist: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 01 - Invitation 02 - Soul Intro - The Chicken 03 - Continuum 04 - Liberty City 05 - Three Views of a Secret 06 - Sophisticated Lady *2013 Warner Japan / Rhino | WPCR-27456 | Jazz Best Collection 1000 Series {2013 Japan 24-bit Remaster} Personnel: Jaco Pastorius - bass Don Alias - percussion Randy Brecker - trumpet Peter Erskine - drums Bobby Mintzer - tenor and soprano saxophone, bass clarinet Othello Molineaux - steel drums Toots Thielemans - harmonica AMAZING LIVE ALBUM, Highly recommended.- Enjoy, SEED and SHARING...
